laura was five years old when she got knocked down she was taken to glassgow
royal infimary then to the southern general hospital she went through an operation that night to
remove a blood clot on the brain the doctors said the operation was successful but there was too
much presure on the brain and laura died nine days later laura was a wee girl that was full of
mischief you never knew what she was going to get up to next but we have so many happy memories of
laura you could tell loads of stories about her her gran said laura put so much into her five years
to leave us all those memories but it doesnt take the pain away and never will as me and her big
sister still suffer with out laura there not a day goes by that we dont think of her she will
allways be in our hearts and thoughts for ever and one day we will all be together again love mum
big sister debbie and all so her two wee sisters paula and kayleigh who was born after you were gone
but know all about there big sister love you xxxxxxx

"When you were born, on that special day

And joy overflowed from deep in my heart
With a power I'd never conceived,

That you were a gift of love,
Sent to bless my life in so many ways
Truly sent from God above.
Watching you grow was a privilege
Daily marveling at the changes in you,
Finding it hard to contain my excitement
Dreaming of all the future things we'd do.
Both wanting time to slow down and speed up
Sometimes wishing a baby you could stay,
Other times, wishing the years could move faster
Perhaps in my own selfish way.
For I had so many things to show you
Things planned for us to do and see,
Wanting to give you every experience
That a magical childhood would need.
And I loved all the things we did together
To have your sweet shadow following me,
I swelled with pride when you called me "Mummy"
Being your mother meant so much to me.
Words couldn't express my joy at your birth
